Psychomotor is a body based psychotherapy that is one of the most
powerful methods for identifying, expressing, clearing and healing
childhood wounds.
In this training we will focus on the essential Psychomotor tools
of how to work with body energies. In Psychomotor, all energy in
the form of sensations in the body means something about either
an old wound or desired antidote. And unresolved wounds and old
unmet needs are at the core of your clients’ issues. In Psychomotor
there are specific, precise tools/methods for what to do with these
body sensations. This workshop will give you the tools you need
to get to the core of the issues that are troubling your clients.
You should attend the workshop if you want to:
• Understand what and how childhood issues/wounds are affecting
your client from a Psychomotor perspective.
• Go beyond traditional talk therapy to facilitate and accelerate
a deeper healing with your clients.
• Work with the clients’ bodily energy to know precisely
how to express the feelings about old wounds and provide satisfying
antidotes.
• Know how to use your client’s bodily energy as precise
cues to how buried old emotions need to be expressed or needs fulfilled.
• Know the symptoms of unmet childhood needs and how to remedy
them.
• Understand specifically the trauma of being emotionally
and physically invaded or having a damaged capacity for assertiveness
and power and what to do about them.
• Explore both verbal and nonverbal methods for assisting
your clients.
