Psychomotor is a body based psychotherapy that is one of the most powerful methods for identifying, expressing, clearing and healing childhood wounds.
In this training we will focus on the essential Psychomotor tools of how to work with body energies. In Psychomotor, all energy in the form of sensations in the body means something about either an old wound or desired antidote. And unresolved wounds/trauma and old unmet needs are at the core of your clients’ issues. In Psychomotor there are specific, precise tools/methods for what to do with these body sensations. This workshop will give you the tools you need to get to the core of the issues that are troubling your clients.

In this workshop we will look at Psychomotor theory regarding the need for limits and the resulting inflation and omnipotence that occurs in their developmental absence. When one did not get adequate boundaries, either too little or from emotional and physical invasions, one experiences themselves as larger than they really are, omnipotent, endless —or the opposite, powerless and diminished (consciously or unconsciously). Further there is an uncontainment that happens when basic needs are not met or there is overparentification. Psychomotor offers very real and specific information and remedies for the myriad symptoms of lack of limits.

We will also review basic Psychomotor theory as a way to build and reinforce the knowledge base. And we will have an opportunity to review and see the work. You will have a chance to do work well.
